Before getting started, it is important that you turn on push notifications. Then, simply specify:

1. The jobs you can work
2. The relevant experience and references you have in each role
3. When you want to work
4. How far you want to work from your home address or current location.
5. How much you want to work for

That’s it! You’ll only see the shifts that suit you, so apply now and get gigging! Once you’ve been accepted for a shift:

1. Turn up at the specified time and location
Be punctual! No one likes a no-show, so if you don’t show up 3 times without a valid excuse, you will lose access to your gig account.

2. Scan your QR code against the employer app when you start and finish your shift so you get paid for what you have worked for
At the end of every shift, a job provider has the opportunity to give you a “thumbs up” and add you to their favourites, so give it your all! We calculate how many “thumbs up” you get relevant to how many jobs you have done and rank you accordingly.

Every shift with gig is paid minus your Tax and National Insurance contributions. We will send you an advice slip showing the advanced amount of income that you are due to receive for your completed shift within 24 hours of you completing it. You will then further receive an end of Tax week payslip with any remaining balance of your income once your weeks Tax and National Insurances have been calculated.
